"Cherish your visions and your dreams as they are the children of your soul, the blueprints of your ultimate achievments".

~ Napolean Hill

Last week, I sat with a beautiful friend who was questioning the whole concept of God, love and spirituality.  It made perfect sense to me as to why such questions would be raised.  Afterall, my friend's background was full of trauma, abuse and religious dogma.

I sat quietly, with eyes closed, feeling the energy behind every word spoken.  I was keenly aware of how deep the despair and disappointment in God permeated my friend's consciousness.

In the silence, it came to me as loud as thunder,  "If ya wanna know God, really know God . . . then express your gift!"

I sat there for just a moment, allowing those words to permeate deep into my own consciousness . . . if you really want to know God, the God of Love and Light . . . then do your gift.

All at once, I realized that expressing our gifts and talents, or pursuing that which we we are passionate about, leads us to experiencing the God / Goddess within us.

It also occurred to me that if we are not conscious in our attempt to follow our heart, then it also makes sense that we would be tempted to believe that we are unlovable, we are not worth very much, everybody else gets to have a great life except us, blah blah blah . . . . whatever the story of separation is.

However, if we are using our gifts, then we have taken powerful action towards perceiving ourSelf and our life as something to be CELEBRATED and LIVED rather than survived.

There is a wonderful line in Charles Fillmore's book,  Prosperity where it says, "Man has never had a desire that could not somewhere, in the providence of God, be fulfilled.  If this were not true, the universe would be weak at its most vital point.  Desire is the onward impulse of the ever-evolving soul."

That is a very powerful quote because it's the "guarantee" that we are all looking for in life.  Desire is what propels us forward.  It helps us to grow.  The problem is, we were let down in the past.  We got divorced.  A business deal fell through.  Something didn't happen when we thought is was going to happen, or, life went in a completely different direction other than what we thought.

So we get disappointed.  We lose our sense of being childlike and feeling free with our imagination.  All this gunk gets stacked up on our desires and before long, we end up settling for a life of mediocrity.

Yet, what if you dared to really lay claim to the above statement, "desire is the onward impulse of the ever - evolving soul"

I happen to believe you would experience some profound shifts within your thinking which would set into motion energetic processes that would open the door for you to manifest all that you desire.

It doesn't mean you won't bump up against your fears and excuses for things not working out for you this time.  You can count on that happening.  That is your work.  It's up to you to become conscious and work through all that keeps you from connecting with your heart.

Every human being, including you, has something they dream of doing or expressing.  Your very presence alone can be a blessing to the world around you.  We all are blessed by your being happy, joyous and free in your loving and giving.

So I want to really encourage you, if there is something bouncing around in your head that you want to do . . . GO DO IT!  If there is a class you want to take, a business you want to start, a book you want to write, a garden you want to grow . . . GO DO IT!

And for goodness sakes, don't worry about doing it perfectly!  That is one of the biggest traps we all fall into.  It keeps us in procrastination and pretty soon we wonder why we feel so stagnant, stuck, and we can't seem to ever get anywhere.

Your gifts are meant to bless you and the world around you.  They bring you a sense of real self worth and value.  When you feel great, the people around you feel great.  Your being in alignment with you, is contagious!

When I see someone owning who they are or sharing the best of themselves, I'm inspired to do the same.  What if you were really living your life that way?  What if we were all living our life that way?  How in the world could we not Love each other in a more profound and Holy way -  which is what we all want, right?

Practice being happy!  Practice joy!  Practice being the absolute best version of yourself!  If you can't seem to do that on a consistent basis, then work on what needs to be healed in you.  Seek out and surrender all the thoughts and concepts of yourSelf that are not of pure Love and Light.

A Course In Miracles teaches us that miracles are everybody's right, but purification is necessary first.  Heal all that makes you miserable.  Heal the wounds from your past.  Focus on you and your emotional well being.  From there, your life will unfold in a way that is in alignment with your desire to contribute to the good of others.  That is the beauty of your gifts and talents - they serve you and those around you in a positive way.

Cherish your gifts and talents.  Ask the Universe how they may enhance your life and the life of others.  Ask that today be a new day, a new beginning.  Let go of past disappointment and be present with this moment.  Look for new possibilities and opportunities.  Become willing to see all things differently and allow the miracles to flow!

Wishing you all good things . . . .

Jayne
